Implementation of Inclusive Excellence Strategies = Higher Latino Retention

Professionals from the PKAL Puerto Rico, the HHMI-PR Outstanding Undergraduate Diversified Program and the NSF-Alliance for Minority Participation are joining efforts to showcase the best practices in research education to foster the retention of undergraduate students in STEM using inclusive excellence strategies. Professors, teachers and students from Puerto Rico will join us for an exciting day of learning new trends that foster inclusion from the classroom to the institutional level. Furthermore, faculty will be able to network with peers from other Hispanic Serving Institutions for, the utmost goal of, writing new grants.
